Technology and connectivity enhancements include an up-to-date audio display system that now features physical buttons and a volume knob for more intuitive control, enhanced voice recognition, and Bluetooth ® connectivity, a USB USB cable, and , similar to the previous models, Apple Display ® and Android Auto ™ integration standard in the EX and top settings. In addition, steering wheel controls have been updated to simplify performance, the electronic parking brake has an indicator light for when engaged, the central console sports the biggest Cupholders, and there are physical buttons for Fan speed on models with dual-zone air conditioning.

After refreshing the Civic coupe and sedan earlier this year, Honda is now launching the Civic Type R and civic hatchback with improvements for the model 2019 year. Both models are on sale starting Nov. 3 with the MSRP starting at $21,450 for the hatch and $35,700 for the hardcore hot hatch.

It is powered by a 1.5-liter 4-cylinder DOHC direct-injection turbo in-line with a maximum output of 174 horsepower4 on LX, ex and an ex-L Navi models. Civic Hatchback Sport and Sport touring cut the power peak up to 180 horsepower4.

For the model year 2019, Civic Hatchback includes the safety of Honda Sensing ® and Driver assistance technologies as standard equipment in all trims. Honda Sensing ® includes Collision Mitigation System ™ (CMBS ™), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Maintenance Assistance (LKAS), Road exit Mitigation (RDM), Lane exit Warning (LDW) and cruise control Adaptive (ACC) with low-speed tracking.
