Honda HRV 2022: All-New Redesign Honda HRV Looks Like

Honda HRV 2022 Small SUVs are in vogue, and while we saw most buyers opting for them for their stylish exterior or active lifestyle image, some offerings – such as the Honda HR-V 2021 – also offer surprising practicality.

Given that Honda will discontinue the Fit hatchback after the 2020 model year, the HR-V will soon serve as the smallest vehicle in the North American brand lineup.

Fortunately, many of the things we love about the Fit continue to live on in the HR-V, including the new second row of Magic Seats, which folds down to turn the ute’s cabin into a cargo-carrying champion.

The rest of the HR-V’s interior is well constructed if styled in a bland style, and is filled with the many comforts that would satisfy most small SUV buyers. In our tests, the HR-V was very slow to accelerate, the Hyundai Kona and the Kia Altos.

Honda introduced the HR-V subcompact crossover to the United States in 2015, which means the model is likely to be replaced shortly.

The 2020 Honda HR-V has the benefit of being the largest and most spacious vehicle in its class, although we’d like to see it gain a little more power.

In the US, Honda only offers a 1.8-liter four-cylinder that makes 141 horsepower and 127 lb-ft of torque while Europe receives a turbocharged version that makes 180 hp.

The US may never accept the turbocharged HR-V, but what if Honda had stepped up the power in some other way? Rendering artist Kleber Silva has just revealed his interpretation of the 2022 HR-V and it gives us an interesting idea.

2022 Honda HRV Rumors

Now we are confused. Earlier this year, Honda said the next generation HR-V would be different from the Vezel / HR-V currently sold in other regions such as Japan and Europe.

And now, Honda is launching the all-new 2022 Vezel / HR-V in Japan, and that’s not what we expected from Honda.

For starters, the 2022 HR-V has a dedicated hybrid powertrain. In Japan, the new HR-V has the same hybrid powertrain as the All-New Honda Fit.

If you remember, the new-generation Fit is coming out of the US market in 2021, and Honda longs for the new HR-V to meet the needs of potential Fit buyers.

Nevertheless, the Honda HR-V 2022 in Japan has a 1.5-liter four-cylinder gas engine and one electric motor, producing about 96 horsepower / 97 pound-feet and 106 horsepower / 187 pound-feet respectively. Front-wheel drive is standard while all-wheel drive is optional.

Next comes style, a radical change from the fascia inspired by the previous generation Lander Robot HR-V. Similar to the upcoming Honda Civic 2022, the HR-V has a cleaner design with slightly rounded proportions.

A taller profile, upward-facing headlamps, and a gorgeous perforated grille are excellent additions to the new HR-V silhouette. The butcher attitude exudes a sense of adventure, but the aggressive fascia gives off a more sporty and premium feel.

Still, it’s the HR-V with recessed rear door handles, a sloping roof, and a compact footprint. On the inside, the dashboard layout is similar to what you’ll find on the Civic 2022.

It has a fat three-finger bar with integrated buttons and controls. The dashboard is low to offer better forward visibility. As a bonus, it has a dedicated physical knob for the climate control system.

Japanese buyers can start buying the Honda HR-V 2022 at dealerships in April 2021. Honda did not announce whether this generation of Vezel / HR-V will arrive in North America or the US, in particular.

We will keep you updated on further developments regarding the new compact hybrid crossover from Honda.

2022 Honda HRV Latest News

To overcome the attack of trendy and trendy small SUVs, Honda prepared the HR-V 2022 with a charming redesign.

The Generation Out is practical and offers good value, but the revamped model needs more curb appeal and a more attractive powertrain to challenge the best segments, such as the Hyundai Kona, the Kia Seltos, and the Mazda CX-30.

Four cylinders will definitely remain the HR-V’s powertrain of choice, but we’re not sure if it will be a turbocharged or natural-aspirated variant yet.

To maintain the unbeatable versatility of the old model, we were expecting the second-row Magic Seat to make a comeback; the modern cabin with the latest technology also appears to be part of the redesign.

Honda’s smallest crossover will be completely redesigned for the 2022 model year and is expected to debut before the end of 2021.

Honda HRV 2020 Review

Honda Vezel is a car you’ve seen everywhere but probably heard before. Why is that? Because it’s called HR-V on our shores Honda just released a new Vezel and it looks cute.

Too bad you can’t have it. A Honda spokesperson confirmed that the new Vezel / Euro-spec HR-V you see is not the HR-V 2022 we bought in the US.

From the outside, the new Vezel looks pretty good. The lines are clean and taught and more interesting than the current HR-V. The same goes for the interior.

The steering wheel looks like it came out of the Honda-E (another foreign Honda product we want to see here), and the dashboard design is minimal and clean.

The HR-V in our hands is likely to have a similar design, but the Euro market model is not expected to be a carbon copy.

Honda says the interior volume of the new Vezel / HR-V matches the previous model, which means that the cabin space should remain generous despite the compact SUV’s small exterior dimensions.

Other benefits include a flat-folding seat, a new air diffusion system that creates an “air curtain” on both the side and top of the passenger, and luxurious-looking materials throughout.

Power comes from the gasoline-electric hybrid powertrain. Honda lacks a bit of detail, but the same setup powers the CR-V Hybrid.

In this application, the 2.0-liter I-4 is powered by two electric motors, one to start the engine and the other to start the SUV. The CR-V Hybrid generates 212 hp and delivers EPA rated 40/35/38 city/highway / combined MPG.

Will it be the powertrain we will buy in the USA 2022 HR-V market? It can happen. However, if it finds its way under the hood of our HR-V, it will likely join traditional gas-powered engine options.

Perhaps the turbocharged 1.5-liter I-4 found in Civic and Accord. We’re still unsure of the timing of the new HR-V, but we expect to see a U.S.-only model before the end of the year.

Honda HRV 2022

The second (modern) generation of Honda’s small SUV will go on sale in Europe later this year with a hybrid powertrain as standard, combined with a smoother exterior design and an overhauled cabin.

First revealed in a leaked patent image in early February, the new HR-V marks an evolutionary step over its predecessor in the exterior design department, pairing its signature style cue – the ‘hidden’ rear door handle – to a coupe-like shape.

And a more refined style reminiscent of Honda’s newest models, including the new Civic.

Upfront, the LED headlamps flank the striped grille, with the lighting unit’s daytime running light strip connected at the front end with a chrome trim strip.

At the rear, a pair of LED taillights are linked by a full-width light bar. 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin tires fill the arches of the high-spec, entry-level grade model equipped with 16-inch wheels.

Inside, the new HR-V represents a significant step over the model it replaces, with a new cabin dominated by a new 9.0-inch central infotainment touchscreen with satellite navigation, an inbuilt Wi-Fi hotspot, and ‘Honda Connect’ connected service.

The driver holds the new steering wheel with a center hub inspired by the E electric hatchback and looks at the display of the semi-digital instrument (probably about 7.0 inches in size) mounted beside the analog speedometer.

The HR-V’s versatile folding ‘Magic Seats’ feature comes out as standard in the new model, with a 40:60 split for the folding rear seat and a hands-free power tailgate aiding convenience.

Other comforts and convenience features available include a panoramic sunroof, heated seats, LED interior lighting, a premium sound system designed by Honda, and the ‘Honda Digital Key’ service which allows the owner to unlock the car via a smartphone.

Under the hood, the European model will be fitted as standard with a hybrid powertrain, which combines a small petrol engine with two electric motors. Engine sizes, power, and torque output, and fuel economy figures have not all been announced, until publication.

A single motor version of the same hybrid system develops 80kW in the associated Jazz hatch offered in Europe.

Japanese customers can also opt for the 1.5-liter petrol engine (with unknown output) paired with a CVT automatic transmission.

It’s unclear whether one or both of the powertrains listed above will come to Australia, or whether Honda’s local arm will choose a completely different engine Down Under.

The HR-V is currently powered by a naturally aspirated 1.8-liter four-cylinder petrol engine, delivering 105kW and 172Nm to the front wheels via a CVT car.

The hybrid model offers three drive modes – Normal, Sport, and Econ – with four further settings for the regenerative braking system available to choose from.

A full suite of Honda Sensing branded safety technologies is offered, including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go, lane guard assistance, forward and reverse autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, traffic sign recognition, 360-degree camera, and automatic high-beam.

The Honda HR-V 2021 will go on sale in Europe in late 2021.

A Honda Australia spokesman told CarAdvice: “We are delighted to see the next generation HR-V officially launched today as part of the world’s premier online event.”

“The HR-V today continues to be one of the most popular and successful models in the Honda lineup, so we are looking forward to the new model joining the line-up in Australia in the next 12 months.

We will be able to share more details about the HR- The all-new V for our market as we get closer to a local launch. ”

If the brand statement proves true, the new small SUV is expected to hit Australian showrooms in February 2022.

Is There A Honda HRV Hybrid

In Japan, this model is offered in dual propulsion. The first is a 1.5L petrol engine and the second is a hybrid with the name e: HEV.

It is possible that the HR-V e: HEV will adopt the technology used in both the CR-V and the Fit. In Japan, the latest generation Honda HR-V will be marketed starting next April.

Feast your eyes on the Honda HR-V 2022. The Japanese automaker revealed its latest SUV on Thursday.

It looks good, but this one isn’t really for the US. While the HR-V we have known for some time now is actually a ‘Murcanized version of the Vezel crossover sold globally, Honda has a specific new HR-V that comes just for us Yanks.

That doesn’t mean the HR-V 2022 revealed today can’t foreshadow what’s to come. So, let’s dig in.

The new HR-V gets a total repeat from the inside out. Designers are eyeing a coupe-like roofline which, in my opinion, looks a little funky here, at least in the photos.

Fascia ditches a large chrome plate on the front to support a sort of EV-esque.

The thin, horizontal stripes create the grille this time around with a blue aura around the Honda badge – the latter showing the brand’s latest e: HEV powertrain.

More on that in a moment. Just above the grille is a thin chrome strip to provide a bit of separation and connecting the headlights. I get a big Ford Edge and Mazda CX-9 vibe here, in particular.

From the side, the HR-V 2022 looks quite long, especially with the long hood emphasized by the designer.

The tilted greenhouse comes out in full before bringing us back to the back. A light bar replaces the serrated taillights and looks much better with a thin strip connecting them, like the front fascia.

The cockpit seems to be taking the Honda E electric car idea and trying to make it a mainstream crossover with success.

I love Honda’s latest steering wheel design, and this interior might give us an idea of the Civic 2022 as well.

The teaser sketch that Honda released last year seems to reflect a tablet-style infotainment screen, three chunky buttons on the dashboard, and a dashboard design that looks more stacked.

Again, we didn’t get this one, but it looks like the right jump past the outgoing HR-V.

Under the hood, Europeans will receive thee: HEV powertrain, which we’ve seen on the CR-V and Jazz (Honda Fit) across the Atlantic.

Specifically, it’s a 1.5-liter inline-four engine coupled with two electric motors and a lithium-ion battery.

Honda didn’t specify specific performance specifications for the new HR-V, but in the Jazz, the powertrain combo makes 107 horsepower.

Honda promises its entire vehicle lineup in Europe will be completely electrified by next year, and the HR-V 2022 is a big part of that promise. Europeans will have the opportunity to take him home later this year.

In the meantime, we have to stay patient with what Honda cooks for the US-specific HR-V.

Honda HRV 2022 New Model

One of the Honda models that are quite in demand in the national market is the HR-V.

A crossover / compact SUV that played in the Indonesian market after being introduced at the 2014 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS). At that time it was available in two engine options, namely 1.5 liters and 1.8 liters.

Yesterday, Honda Manufacturers released the Honda HR-V for the 2022 model year for the European market.

It is a refresher of the 2020 version with a new look, including the support of the new powertrain. The manufacturer also provides a touch of refinement in the cabin so that it becomes more sophisticated and modern.

Of course, the naturally aspirated 4-cylinder engine will still be used, but it is not clear whether it will adopt the turbo or not.

The HR-V 2022 will debut in late 2021 and reportedly will enter the European market first.

Exterior

Honda HRV-V 2022 has a fresh look inside and out. The exterior looks very new, with a strong enough taste for the SUV / crossover market.

But when compared to the previous HR-V, the HR-V’s hallmark is less visible because the new version seems more premium and the body surface is flatter, while the old version is more curved and boxy.

The headlights look narrower and more elongated. To give an elegant impression to the front fascia, the headlights are connected with a thin chrome line.

The form of the front grille no longer uses the Solid Wing Face, it is replaced by a new front grille which is more radical in shape.

Resembling thin blades with colors in harmony with the outward appearance of the body so that it seems to blend. It looks futuristic, much like the fascia of an electric car.

In Japan, consumers can customize colors, including providing other colors on the grille bar. So if someone thinks the grille color is too monotonous, it can be replaced with another color to make it look fresher.

When viewed as a whole, the shape of the latest HR-V resembles a coupe, with a narrow C pillar layout.

The rear glass is designed to be sloping so that it becomes more dynamic, following the narrow design lines at the back. The taillights are also made new, complete with elongated taillights at the rear.

Interior

The inside appearance is made slick and more premium than before. The design is made more minimalist and simple so that it looks spacious.

Coated with quality material and soft. The plastic material used is also of higher quality.

Installed a wide panoramic roof to add comfort and lighting for rear passengers.

The manufacturer has also adopted an L-shaped AC vent at the top corner of the dashboard. The latest version also features air conditioning vents for rear passengers.

Engine and Transmission

The European version will get the addition of a hybrid engine, the same as the Honda Insight and Accord hybrids. But for the North American market, it is not certain what machine will be used.

Consumers in America expect that the machines used in the latest HR-V have more power.

For example, it could be from the 4-cylinder 2.0 turbo in line with the Honda Civic which produces 158 hp. The cabin is also expected to be made even quieter with better insulation technology.

The manufacturer itself has stated that it has made a series of changes to the HR-V so that it catches up with the times.

No exception in terms of cabin relief so that comfort can be optimized again.

Infotainment

All models are equipped with a touch screen entertainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The width of the touch screen is probably bigger than the current one, 7.0 inches, and is mounted on the central dashboard.

On the screen, there is a variety of vehicle information, Wi-Fi, a navigation system and acts as a reverse camera.

What Are The Different Honda HRV Models

Honda makes the 2021 HR-V in four trim levels: LX, Sport, EX, and EX-L. All trims have a four-cylinder engine and a continuously variable automatic (CVT) transmission.

Front-wheel drive is standard; all-wheel drive available.

Honda HRV 2022 Canada

The newly unveiled prototype for the 11th generation Honda Civic reveals that Canada’s top-selling car is getting a complete redesign – both inside and out.

Dramatic interior changes reimagine the clean, tidy lines of the previous generation Civic while providing exceptional ergonomics and outstanding visibility.

The exterior, meanwhile, features a clean and sophisticated look, emphasizing its low stature and width. Particular attention was paid to improving visibility, including moving the front roof pillars back and forth to the river’s edge.

The redesign also showcases the Civic’s advanced range of technologies and new active and passive safety systems.

This includes an upgraded suite of Honda Sensing® driver assistance and safety technologies, as well as Honda’s first digital dashboard.

2022 Honda HRV USA

The HR-V 2022 teaser campaign is in full swing, but someone has decided to upset Honda’s plans by sharing fully emerging footage of the small, redesigned crossover.

Why do we think this is HR-V and not just another crossover? The person who found the image said the trademark belongs to Honda.

Ok, underestimating what foreigners say on the internet is something we never did at Motor1.com, but we think we have solid evidence that the grayscale image depicts the next generation HR-V.

As shown in the side-by-side comparison above, the rear design looks pretty much the same.

The details look the same, from the door’s high-mounted handle to the placement of the fuel cap. We dimmed the lights in the official demonstration provided by Honda to unlock more design details and compare them with the alleged patent HR-V 2022 image.

The image next to it aligns with the camouflaged prototype our prying eyes caught earlier in the year, showing the same headlight placement as the top-mounted LED DRL.

The hood line matches a discreet vehicle like the placement of the side mirrors.

Honda will announce its new subcompact crossover for JDM and the global market on February 18.

It is unclear when the North American special version will be launched, but the automaker said it was “designed to meet the needs of different US customers and will be different from the Honda Vezel / HR-V that will be introduced in other regions.”

Given how old the second-generation model that was released seven years ago is, we think the US-specific HR-V will arrive for the model year 2022.

If our assumptions are correct, the official premiere will take place in the second half of 2021, probably towards the end. year.

2022 Honda HRV AWD

The Honda HR-V may not be the most performance-oriented, but it is definitely the most fuel-efficient as it occupies the top position here.

The Hyundai Kona and the Kia Soul both came in biting the Honda’s tail and were outdone only by the skin of their teeth.

However, Kia has a larger fuel tank capacity which allows it to offer a better range than others.

Crosstrek has no worries in the world when it comes to MPG figures as its main goal is to provide off-road thrills in a full-time AWD package.

Honda has announced only one of its possible engine variants which are likely to expire in the 2022 HR-V. A 1.5-liter four-cylinder hybrid with natural aspirations, but no specifications have been released.

That said the powertrain should belong to the upcoming Honda Fit 2022. The gas engine produces 96 horsepower and 97 pound-feet of torque while the electric motor produces 106 horsepower and 187 pound-feet.

Whatever powertrain you get, the choice of transmission will still be the CVT which is also the current wingman powertrain.

The CVT can tame power and torque and put it on the front wheels as standard, but if you want AWD that’s also available for an extra $ 1,500.

Honda HRV 2020 LX

It’s worth noting that the HR-V 2022 version offers an Audio infotainment system with a Display that includes a volume knob, large on-screen icons, and Apple CarPlay / Android Auto integration.

A 7.0-inch touchscreen comes standard on all but the basic LX trim, which gets a simpler setup which is basically a radio with a color screen.

  • The price for the LX type $ 23,000 (est)

2022 Honda HRV Rendering

HRV 2022, The rendering takes inspiration from the Honda Insight which is a hybrid sedan.

The HR-V 2022 borrows the front fascia, headlamps, grille, taillights, and wheel patterns from its hybrid sibling and even uses a black Toyota-inspired roof for added sportiness.

The Insight is already a very attractive vehicle so its design elements translate well into a crossover.

No powertrain specs are provided with the rendering, but we assume we will borrow the engine and hybrid system from Insight.

It won’t be a big power upgrade but Insight’s 1.5-liter gas engine and electric motor combine to produce 151 hp, about 10 hp more than the current HR-V.

Honda HRV 2022 Redesign

HRV2022, Sao Paulo-based digital artist Kleber Silva envisions the next-generation Honda HR-V in a much more premium avatar than the previous model.

It appears to be in the segment above the Creta or Seltos with upscale styling, bigger wheels, and stronger body lines.

This is just an ordinary rendering and one shouldn’t associate it with an actual product due next year. It borrows aesthetics from various existing Honda products, especially the Honda Insight 2021MY hybrid sedan.

On the other hand, the next-generation Honda Civic has started its prototyping phase – check out the latest spy pictures.

The DLO (daylight opening) side is borrowed from the current-generation Honda Accord global specifications. This provides a coupe-ish look without sacrificing headroom.

A similar trend can be observed in some modern crossovers / SUV-coupes. Overall, the Kleber Silva version of the Honda HR-V 2022MY packs all the elements of exterior styling to make it an attractive choice among urban UVs.

We’ve shared many of Kleber’s work, including the India-bound Hyundai Alcazar aka Creta 7-seater.

Meanwhile, Honda Car India is ready to launch the long-awaited ‘5th Generation Honda City’ in India after a long delay caused by COVID-19 and its lockdown protocol.

It will be available in BS6 petrol and diesel formats. Sitting on an all-new platform, the next-generation Honda City may easily be the best choice in India’s C-segment sedan market.

It mainly rivals the Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Vento, Skoda Rapid, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, and Toyota Glanza. Once the real Honda HR-V 2022MY enters the global market, one can expect news of its introduction in India.

Like most overseas markets, India is seeing a high demand for crossovers / compact SUVs.

2022 Honda HRV Spy Photos

The next-generation small SUV is seen in Europe in a familiar, tablet-style infotainment display.

The next-generation Honda HR-V 2022 has been staked out testing in Europe for the first time, ahead of its anticipated launch later this year.

While the prototype taken by our spy photography partner wears moderate camouflage on the front and rear and body lines, it remains clear that the new HR-V won’t stray too far from its predecessor in the design department.

The next generation of Honda’s small SUV – the first new model in nearly eight years – retains the overall shape of its predecessor and the distinctive ‘hidden’ rear door handle, although it looks more angular and wrinkled than the car it replaces.

Upfront, the slimmer LED headlamps flank the tall, upright grille, while at the rear peering through the camouflage are the LED taillights linked by the full-width light bar.

The rear window rake looks steeper than today’s cars, leading to a new, sportier, and more stylish model.

While no images have been taken officially, zooming in on one of the exterior images reveals the new HR-V will join the mid-sized Accord sedan and next-generation Civic small car in moving to a tablet-style infotainment screen, most likely the 9.0-inch Unit is set to go. on the latter – a notable improvement over the current 7.0-inch unit models.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto should be combined into the new unit, which is set to become part of a more contemporary interior that will likely include a digital instrument cluster and stylistic elements borrowed from Honda E’s retro-style electric city car.

The HR-V’s ‘Magic Chair’ which is currently much loved is expected to be offered again with a new generation model.

Few mechanical details are known about the new HR-V, although considering it is expected to share a front-wheel-drive platform with the latest generation Jazz city car,

Not for Australia, expect a hybrid powertrain option, possibly an updated version of the Jazz’s 80kW, 1.5-liter’ self. -charging ‘setups offered in Europe and Japan.

A conventional petrol engine is also likely to be offered, although the exact form is unclear.

The current HR-V is fully supported in Australia by a 1.8-liter 105kW / 172Nm four-cylinder petrol engine, front-wheel drive via automatic CVT.

The 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder shared with the Civic was available overseas, although that option never worked.

Expect this new model to offer a complete suite of advanced active safety technologies under the Japanese brand Honda Sensing banner, including autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane guard assistance, and more.

The Honda HR-V 2022 is expected to make its full debut later this year, with launches in Australia likely to continue some time in 2022.

2022 Honda HRV Engine

Slow, noisy, and not smooth, the HR-V’s four-cylinder engine will not satisfy your inner racer, and the continuously variable automatic (CVT) transmission exacerbates engine rudeness.

With front-wheel drive, the HR-V set a time of 60 mph 8.6 seconds which is a bit sluggish. Adding an all-wheel-drive slows it down even further, to 9.5 seconds.

The HR-V maintains the Fit’s agile and vibrant hatchback handling on which it is based, but don’t push it too hard.

Choppiness when driving on rough roads and body roll when cornering can be overcome with better suspension damping, but when driving on flat roads or highways, the HR-V settles more evenly.

2022 Honda HRV Interior

Its classy and well-crafted interior may not make the heart beat fast, but the outside visibility is good and the passenger space is acceptable.

The most luxurious features are limited to the top-spec Touring models. The spacious front seats will provide sufficient head and legroom for all passengers except the tallest passenger.

The rear seats also have plenty of legroom, but not so much headroom, thanks to Honda’s sloping roofline.

HR-V party trick is the second-row Magic Seat. When removed, the back of the rear seat folds flat. Combined with a low load floor, it makes packing cargo a breeze.

The underside of the rear seats can also be flipped over, providing a deeper clearance between the front and rear seatbacks for taller items.

With the rear seats stowed away, we managed to fit our 22 totes inside – more than some of the larger crossovers can manage.

HR-V offers a Display Audio infotainment system that includes a volume knob, large on-screen icons, and Apple CarPlay / Android Auto integration.

This 7.0-inch touchscreen comes standard on all but the basic LX trim, which gets a simpler setup which is a radio with a color screen.

2022 Honda HRV MPG

It’s not the turbocharged HR-V we’d hoped for but it will be more efficient than the current model, which achieves up to 28 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway.

The Insight can reach up to 55 mpg in the city and 49 mpg on the highway, although that figure should be reduced slightly due to the HR-V’s ride height and added weight. The new HR-V is likely to arrive in the next year or two and we expect it to look like this.

Honda HRV 2020 Price

Sure, the HR-V isn’t the cheapest or the coolest subcompact SUV, but it’s a brilliant choice for people who want one of the most practical vehicles in its class.

Having said that, we think an intermediate level EX model is the one to get. While more expensive than the lower HR-V Sport, it has better standard features.

  • LX: $ 22,000 (est)
  • Sports: $ 24,000 (est)
  • EX: $ 25,000 (est)
  • EX-L: $ 27,000 (est)
