The rugged camouflage cover on the front does a commendable job of hiding details, but we anticipate that any changes will be minor. The grille and headlamps are outlined in cloth, featuring the same general shape as the current model. At the corners are rectangular openings that reveal stacked drive lights of a similar shape, albeit with a slightly different structure. Further down, the eye-catching new notch at the bottom of the front fascia is almost invisible.
As a result, we anticipate a revised lower fascia, perhaps with minor creases similar to those on the Honda Pilot. The grille can also be redesigned while maintaining the same size and shape as the current Odyssey. This will be a light update to give the durable minivan a fresh look, and rear modifications are also coming soon. Behind the black cover, a new fascia with vertical reflectors can be seen. The tailgate and taillights remain unchanged.
Are changes planned for the interior? Maybe, as we can see the touchscreen cover is in the middle. The image doesn’t provide a clear view of the interior, but zooming in on the passenger window reveals a tablet-style screen covered in a cover, as well as a second cover on the passenger side dash. It may just be the personal belonging of the van’s occupants, but a small interior upgrade to match the exterior makeover is unimaginable.
However, on the surface, we anticipate no change. That means a 2.8 horsepower, 3.5 liter V6 engine that drives only the front axle via a 10-speed automatic transmission. Honda does not offer hybrid or all-wheel drive vehicles.

2024 Honda Odyssey Exterior
Powerful sliding passenger doors on both sides are standard with every Odyssey 2024, another feature of concern for abused parents. And the powerful tailgate is present at the level of the second trim.

2024 Honda Odyssey Engine
Fleet-footed, streamlined, and polished, the Odyssey is an uncompromising lover. The Odyssey changes direction sharply, and from behind the wheel, it is easy to forget that you are driving a three-row van. Direct steering and light power, but more feedback from the road will be welcome.
Riding enthusiasts won’t be happy after all, it’s still a minivan but the Odyssey is a well-ridable minivan, and its agility makes it competent in corners and easy to drive on narrow roads.
We tested the Elite and found that its mount didn’t match our long-range Pacifica, but the standard 19-inch alloy wheels could be one of the reasons.
The EX-L we drove with 18-inch wheels and looked more suited to the pockmarked Michigan road we drove every day. However, on most road surfaces, the Odyssey has comfortable driving features, and some passengers will complain.
Transmission
Each 2024 Odyssey minivan is driven by a 3.5-liter V6 engine. There is no turbocharger or anything like that. The output is more than enough, at 280 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. This applies only to the front wheels (all-wheel drive is not an option) through an efficient 10-speed automatic transmission.
Ordinary gasoline is refined. Cylinder deactivation contributes to fuel efficiency, where only three cylinders are used whenever possible. Plus an engine stop/restart function that can be turned off if desired.
